About the Conference

You are welcome to the 4th conference “Contemporary standards in cardiac anesthesiology. From science to practice” which will take place at Meshalkin National Medical Research Center.
The conference endorsed by European Association of Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology (EACTA) and Russian Federation of Anesthesiologists and Reanimatologists (FAR).
As a result of active development of medical technologies and implementation of new medication, the mortality during cardiac surgery significantly decreased and now the rate is 1–2%.
Nevertheless, frequency of serious complications in patients operated under cardiopulmonary bypass remains at high level. As a result, the primary goal for anesthesiologists and resuscitators involves prevention, early detection and therapy of occurred complications.
We will pay a lot of attention to the problems of monitoring, choosing of solution for infusion therapy, preventive measures and treatment of serious complications in cardiosurgical patients.
Lecturers will present the results of last and significant international trials in anesthesiology and intensive therapy, which will influence on routine medical practice in the years ahead.
Concerning to international school of extracorporeal life support the issues on patients with postcardiotomy heart failure and cardiogenic shock management planned to discuss.
